Scan not picking anything up

Vu+ Newbie
Hi there,
I recently got my vu+ zero and I am trying to scan for channels but I am finding none. There are two lines that are coming out of my satellite , so I have tried to scan with both of them and I am finding nothing.
Advice appreciated

Hi, I am using VU+ ZERO. i have no idea the lnb or the dish. I previously used the Wetek play and everything worked fine from it. The dish would be the standard disk that would get installed when Sky do their installs in ireland. It should be picking up 28.2E but nothing is coming up.

I probably should have said that there are two lines coming from my satellite and only one into the box. Not sure if this makes a differences??

You need to first set up your Tuner.
Go into the Menu, Setup, Tuner Configuration.
Select the Tuner and set it to Simple, Single, Astra 2, 28.2E.
Then exit and go to manual scan and try entering 10729 Vertical 22000 DVB-S, and search.
 
Hey Mick, got it sorted. Channels being scanned as we speak. I think the cable at the back wasn't tight enough.
