Hello

If I use HDMI cable at 1080i 60hz, then SD channels come "ghosty".At 50 hz all are clear and nice.

I bought new samsung tv, and the picture is better in 60 hz.

Can I use 60 hz?

As far as I know 60Hz is not the European standard for TV

Yes, but:
xbmc media center at 60 Hz is OK
DM 800hd sd and hd channels at 60 Hz are OK (at 60 Hz pictures are better)
Vu+ Duo hd channels at 60 Hz are OK
Vu+ Duo sd channels at 60 Gz are BAD. Why?

On my Sony TV I do not see any difference in quality.

Why is it so I do not know.
But 60Hz is the NTSC standard
and 50 Hz PAL standard is used in European countries.
