Hi there, I am a brand new user with a VU+ Duo with wifi. I have manaed to download the android app and can watch TV on my smartphone. Is there a way of doing this to a laptop via wifi or LAN. Many thanks in advance of any help.
Thank you for replying. I am afraid I need a bit more help on how to do this. I have a win 7 netbook which connects to my home network via LAN or Wifi. My box is connected to my home network by LAN. As you can tell from my wording i am not experienced at this sort of thing but have managed to connect my box to the home network as a device and can move files around the network to watch where I choose but I would like to watch TV as well.
I set my smartphone up because the app did all the work for me.
You should know the IP address of your VU, since you were able to configure the android app.
Type that address (e.g. 192.168.1.15) into the address bar of your web browser on the netbook (Internet Explorer,/Firefox/Chrome/Opera whatever you are using)
You will get to the Web Interface, where you can navigate through your programs and stream using VLC.
