Not long had the solo2 and I've flashed with bh 2.0.2 from start.
I've noticed a that after running for while it can become pretty warm but can't really hear fan.
Well playing with standby fan plugin I've found can turn fan speed up and down. However appears to stay up or down even when not in standby. Shouldn't my fan be turning on as needed anyhow when running?
I've turned fan up a bit for now as hd channel pictures appear to be better like this! But worried fan may not be coming on as needed.

It's strange...
You can check internal fan connection if it's fitted correctly in their connector?
On my Solo2 I've turned ON fan also in standby mode ....

I use default 10 PWM
temperature does not exceed 38 C
last time I measured solo2 temperature
with FanControl2 plugin (you can download from our image server)
With this plugin it is possible still more see the temperature in solo2
but I do not use it because solo2 is cold box,
and standard fancontrol plugin satisfies .
Briefly if the box has no HDD
and no apparatus around that produce heat
Then 10 to 50 PWM is enough.
But you can check it by hand.
Box is a little warm with 10 PWM if in a free position.
The internal temperature is less than 40 C
which is more than good.
In summer, it may be necessary to increase the speed
depending on the room temperature.

I've selected 3-pin I think, to be honest had a play with it and fan went bit crazy so went back to normal plugin.
Was registering a temp of 33 degrees before started messing so guess ok.
