Skins not loading...

Vu+ Newbie
I use the latest 1,7,8 version of Black Hole on my VU solo.
I tried to change the default skin. The skin is installed successfully (no error message) but is not loading...:sad:
3 different skin trials and none worked...

Is there a known incompatibility of the latest version?
What else should I try?

You can use and download only skins from image server
(green>>yellow>>Addons Download Manager>>Black Hole Image Skins)
and only skins for BH 1.7.8 or BH 1.7.x
 
I even tried Army Nex Gen smoke HD 1.7.8 and BlueNight2 P 1.7.X and no result... :(
Could there be a conflict with the previous non compatible?
Because I try to unistall ArmyBrioHD.VU 1.6X via the BH unistall panel and even though I get the message succesfully installed it's still in the list...

I really do not know what are you doing with your image.

All skins (BH 1.7.8 and BH 1.7.x ) can be installed without problems.
I have a feeling you're using a backup
or did you install some plugins with software maneger.

For our images, use only image server and not extern plugins for download (we not support)

USE Claen image and download skins and addons with

Green >> Yellow >> Addons Manager
 
I have never used any external plugins. All were downloaded via the Solo setup menus.
Yes, I reverted back from a backup where I had only installed my sat settings, a few plugins and the armybrio 1.6 skin that cannot be unistalled now.
I believe this one is that causing the trouble and will force me to do everything from the very beginning...
I wanted to avoid that and save all the time I had spent to setup everything.

I have just made a ckean boot of BH 1.7.8 with nothing else apart from the settings of my tuners and meoboot.
I went to Green >> Yellow >> Addons Manager and installed a couple of compatible skins (ArmyNextGenSmokeHD 1.7.8 and EclipseHD_C).
Result? The same... :eek: Nothing! :(

What else should I do? I even went to an experienced friend to hekp me and couldn't find out what's going on either...
Is there something else to do after successfully installing the skin apart from restarting the GUI?

Nobody told me that I would have to select and run the skin. I thought that by installing it, it would be run as well...
