Have a small query.
I have lately installed the latest bh image 2.1.7 and I'm having very slow response when changing channels. I had previously installed the open black hole image which included picons in the channel list and this is when the receiver slowed.
Is it just my receiver and is there a remedy to it?
Thanks guys

Are you experienced slowing zapping ... on what channels?
Did you use a usb pen drive mapped to /media/usb ... where you can put your uploaded picons ... to avoid filling your STB flash memory?
Hu nunigaia thanks for your reply
There's no particular channel. Its when I'm going thru d channel list it just freezes for a few seconds then the circle (top left of d screen) appears.
The picons r stored on my hdd not in d flash memory
Thank u

It´s better use an usb pen drive as i told, for picons ... you can put it, instead of /media/hdd/picon --> on /media/usb/picon!
Test it and reply! ...
If you use Xmbc ... check too if you have it on /media/hdd/.xbmc --> i.e, on the root of HDD directory ...
A timeshift or a recording can fill up too ... your flash memory and can slow down your STB.
