Solo 1 recording problem

Hi Guys, I have a wierd problem if you can help me please?
I have managed to add an external usb HDD to my solo.
It will play recordings and do timeshift, but when I try to record I just get the green reset screen every time.
I know there is a setting I must have missed somewhere.

Crashlogs are stored on the box on folder /hdd

Thanks. This is where I may have the problem. There seems to be no HDD folder in my system.
I can record with timer no problem, it is only instant record that won't work, unit just crashes.

Have you set up recording paths? and set up a HDD mountpoint.

I have set all recording paths but the hard drive just will not mount every time I try

hi, try turning off permanent timeshift and try instant record again. that was the problem for me.
