After testing the 4K Demo channels on Astra and Hotbird using a 4K UHD TV, and understanding the hardware requirements to receive such channels, I'm pretty sure that the current Vu+ receiver models won't be compatible with 4K, the main reason being that the Broadcom chipset is not able to decode HEVC/H.265 encoded streams at the hardware level.
