Solo 2 sound drops on certain channels

Hello,

Just bought a Samsung F8000 tv, when I watch something that isn't through the Solo 2 (ie Netflix or USB pen) I lose sound on some channels but not others. They are different channels on each occasion.

Rebooting the solo 2 does not resolve the problem.

Removing the HDMI lead and putting it back in does give me sound back on all channels.

Any ideas as to what might be causing the problem? I will try another HDMI lead tomorrow!

Try to change HDMI input on Your TV to something different and then choose back to Solo2 HDMI input.
It helps at least on my Philips.
 
Still not fixed.

Tried a new HDMI cable
Tried HDMI 2 and 3
Changed sound settings on TV

I've noticed it drops sound on all HD channels, SD are fine

Pulling the HDMI out and putting it back in works.
 
Sorted sound issue.

Yellow button, then Dolby digital down mix set to on.

However, the volume is low or flat, any ideas on this?

If u watch a film from my PC the sounds is fine, but not on the solo 2
 
Fixed.

Had to detached solo 2 remote from TV. That allowed me to increase volume on solo 2 which was set to about 20%

All done but painful.
