Reformat your HDD to ext4 file format, but at first (if HDD doesn't have his own power supply) use powered USB hub to connect it to Solo2.

what? I haveto format my HDD really? are you joking! many linux base device working with NTFS proper like my Philips tv.

Please give me logical solution.

@mrhamed : Did you try? ;)

Thank you for reply, my external HDD is exactly:
toshiba-canvio-basic-portable-hard-drive.jpg

and supply by own usb slot so does not need another power supply.

but my tv work with it without any extra hub, why solo2 doesn't?

Probably your TV set can get all the necessary power to your HDD but not all USB chipsets are identical and some one needs fullbandwidth for data without power consumption. In this situation an external USB hub with dedicated power supply can be useful.

Just tried my external 3 primary partitions formatted 2,5" low power 320GB HDD (USB 450 mA max. peak power declared)
FAT32, NTFS, ext4 partitions. All of them Plug-In recognized, no mount necessary and working like a charm. BH 2.1.0

I changed image to OpenPLi and HDD detected without extra hub! :)

I understand the BlackHole image is NOT good. :\

This is only your point of view.
Good for you that you have found an image who works like you expect. Pli and BH are BOTH good images.
