Solo2 & remote

Just purchased a new L&G smart plasma TV a 50" 50PB660v but the remote seems to not like it as I need to fiddle about with the buttons to get any of the menus up on screen L&G says its a problem with the signal that the interferes with the remote do get the menu up eventually but annoying, anyone came across this on L&G sets before or will be be easier to get one of these all in ones to use instead.

Thought at first it was the batteries but not to be so easy. Any help appreciated Tried getting it to work with the magic remote but only shows a solo+ in the menu.Ahhh

Which remote are you speaking of: LG or Solo2?

And what signal?

In general, if a remote is idle (it's not being currently used pressing any of its buttons) it can't interfere in any way with another remote or infrared sensor.
