Hi. My VU+ Solo2 defaulted itself overnight so I done a reboot and it died. At this point, I flashed it with the latest Black Hole from this stie, and when starting up, I get the Black Hole image on screen then the box says "VU+ SOLO2" and does nothing else, it does not react when putting into standby and nothing is on screen, I have forced power-out to reboot then flash another image to the box but the same thing happens. Any ideas? Thanks.

Okay, what image would you recommend, I might be doing something wrong. I have used Black Hole (and if I had a choice, I would like to load OpenVix) but what image would you recommend and can you please help me with a download link so I know I'm working with something compatible with my box as I'm a newbie to this and not 100% sure what I'm doing... I can try that and if that doesn't work, I can send back for repair
I'm sorry, how do I get this image? My box was given to me by a friend so I don't have all the factory bits and bobs... where can it be downloaded?

If the box is under warranty, to the reseller.
If it's outside warranty period, ask reseller of your area for a repair.
After reading your posts, I'm convinced your box is a clone.
I don't think it's in warranty... but I have checked as per the check link above, this box is 100% genuine
