Solo4K BH vers. 3.0.4E cannot record on external HDD USB

Vu+ Newbie
After updating to 3.0.4E on my VU+ Solo 4K I´m unable to record on an external HDD at USB port, which was possible till this update, even with previous version 3.0.4D. Comment: unable to record on USB-HDD.
A second VU+Solo 4K in my house with an internal installed HDD is even after update to 3.0.4E still able to record on HDD!
Are there any recommodations how to proceed to overcome this situation. Remark: We even tried to reformat the HDD on ( again ) Rizer3 format, - no success!
Your input is highly appreciated!

Formatting a HDD does not mean anything under a Linux-based environment. The most important thing is MAPPING it as movie folder.

it is BlackHole 3.0.4.0 (2017-11-13-master)
i mapped my hdd to /media/hdd
also the recording path (default)
hdd is visible and accessable in media player, but if i want to record i get a message : you cannot record on a usb drive!
if i put my nas path to the recording path, recording is working...
... also tried to change my mappings form hdd to usb , USB also visible and : you cannot record on a usb drive! message
never saw this message before...

For now, your only option is to reflash with 3.0.4.C and not to update again.

As i've posted a few times, there are problems with updating to 3.0.4.E due to changes by Vu+

There will be new images, as soon as we can get everything working and tested again.

Until then, i'm afraid you will just need to wait.
