SSH password

petine

Vu+ User
On my desktop (OS: Ubuntu 12.04) I can make a connection with my Vu+Solo2, however a user name and a SSH-password are being asked.
Is there a special (SSH) password for this, what is the password for it and where can I find it.

Thanks in advance,
Peter

Though for certain programs it will not ask for password, on others will accept vusolo for Solo and Solo2 and vuplus for Uno. For Username all accept root.

password is the same as for telnet. If you don't have telnet password just create one and it will work with ssh as well

I think ssh will always need password.

So you have to login via telnet

telnet yourip

then

passwd

change your pass and then you will be able to login with your new pass.

Or you can add new user (if you don't need root access) and then no root password will be required.
