For quick fix without reflash simply delete file
/etc/enigma2/automounts.xml
And will be back ok.

try another image.
maybe it is hardware problem of your vuultimo
Do you have added something? like cam module or other hardware ?
If yes remove it.

hi shiro,

I have tried open pli image and no problems , like this boot loop error?

I have no hardware attached to the Ultimo, i literally flash the image, ftp a channel list over - reboot...

Then I get this error *_(

What does the screen dump tell you from its code?

OK....

1) i downloaded the latest image 1.7.1
2) everything flashed ok.....
3) set the tuners up as single & equal too
4)reboot
5)doah!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -- same image as above..

What worries me, the Ultimo could be faulty??
But that said, the latest open pli works without issues...

I am confused......

No your ultimo is ok.
i think we have understood the problem now.
When you upload your channel list in /etc/enigma2 you upload too a corrupted file Pheraps is /etc/enigma2/automounts.xml that is corrupted.
So DON'T upload that file from your settings.
Or better use a new channel settings package.

hi again all,

well, i downloaded the 1.7.1 usb image.
it installed ok...
i have no other devices installed
it installed ok and I used one of the channel lists from the BH feed.

everything seems ok and i can view the fta channels....

Now that it appears ok, i put in a usb key in front and mount it to media/usb - (i think)

I reboot the box and i get the dam boot loop again??

If i take out the mounted usb key, it makes no difference....

I have now decided, reluctantly, to reflash with Open Pli as this image seems to work ok with my box.

I will try BH again, when we move to a newer revision

thanks all:thanks:

Very strange, do you have another usb stick you can try ?

Not all sticks work well with linux box's and there is a possibility that some images will work better with some usb sticks than others as they might use different usb drivers.

reflashed with latest imqge v1.72 --- alls well!!!

thanks all
Good to hear it's all working as it should now.

Shame we didn't findout what was causing the original issue, but atleast whatever it was is no longer an issue anyway :)
