Request Stuck on Red light

i just bought brand new vu+ duo and updated it with bh 1.7.8 with usb and now its stuck on red light its brand new box please any one let me know how to fix it now i just came to know i should have updated cfe first

Try to remove any usb stick.
If the problem persists, try to turn it off for some time.
Then try to reflash an older img to see if it starts.
Otherwise give it back to the seller.

Probably the problem is due to the bootloader.

happened to me. I telneted in and the box was looking for an IP from a DHCP. I have a dhcp but they couldn't talk.
Unplugged the ethernet cable and rebooted by switching on and off again.
Once booted up set the IP manaually .
IT had me worried for a while.
