Subtitle On Recorded Programs

When am watching a movie,the audio would sync with the subtitle accurately but if recorded, it doesn't sync correctly.. the audio is usually seconds ahead of the subtitle or retarded.
Is there any remedy to this on my ultimo BH 1.7.8?
