Subtitle question

Hi all, See some pretty yellow subtitles words in timeshift, the problem for me is I need to pause the tv to read them before they change, this is a good way of learning the language. But it only lasts 5 seconds or there abouts. Is there any way I can keep them up on the screen when I press the pause button?

I know of another Image not Blackhole whay does but I really don`t like to use it. Thanks
 
It's funny: I had never noticed this issue in many years of OBH use until just a few days ago. And today you write about this!
Just out of curiosity: what image is able to pause also the subtitles?
Anyway, I back your "request" up, because I find it very useful, too. ;)
 
Lifes strange sometimes I guess. I`m not sure now what image is was, I will test them and come back with the one which does, Possibbly tomorrow. Thanks Alex
 
Hi Alex, I`m afraid I can not tell you what image I used which paused the subtitles. I tried a few what I thought it might be but did not manage to find one what did. Kicking myself now for not noting what image worked ... If any can help that would be amazing. Cheers
 
Don't worry: it was just a curiosity because I'll surely not going to use other images but OBH just for this reason ;)
 
I was going to put it on Usb so I could go back to BH, ended up corrupting my duo2, oh well nothing ventured nothing gained ;). If you do find one please let me know as it would be so helpful learning the languages ... cheers Alex
