Suggestion about timer completion behaviour

This is something I've wanted to discuss for ages: if the box wakes up from DeepStandby because of a timer, it records goes on being in Standby mode.
But, if you switch on the box during this recording, at the completion of the timer the system does not recognises the new status and proposes, by a message box, to go back to Deepstandby.
Also, the default answer is YES.
I think this is not logic. If I switched the box on, it means I'm now in control of it and I'm watching it, and the completion of the timer should not affect the ON status.
I wouldn't want the message itself or, at least, its default answer (about going to Deep standby) should be NO, I'd like to suggest to coders.

If I'm not mistaken, the same behaviour affects BH.
