support for Vu+ ZERO

no blakhole 3.06 :he is not an old Vu+ he is of the generation VU+ DUO2;solose........ WHY?

If you take a look at the release post from ( BlackHole 3.0.6 ), you can read:

Please Note:

Due to limited resources some end of life models will no longer be supported from BH 3.0.6 onwards. If you want to use BH with these receivers please use version 3.0.5.

best regards

Why?
The VU+ Zero was never built as a stand alone receiver, more as a second receiver.
It doesn't matter if your receiver has Black Hole 3.0.5, or 3.0.6 loaded, it will still only do the same things.
You don't always need the latest image, if everything is working.

If you check the VU+ website you will see the difference in CPU power, RAM, and Flash, memory, compared to other receivers, and why it is incapable of doing certain tasks.
Like an old PC, built to run Windows 95, can't run Windows 10, and get everything working.

Very strange, one thing is okay to buy a new updated box like vu + zero4K
But the box is still on sale in many countries.
The problem with 3.0.5 for Nordic users is no text on Animal Planet HD 0.8W.
Solution for this is given by OpenPli as I see Blackhole thanks for in 3.0.6.
Can we get the same update for vu + zero?

It's strange you know about OpenPli and not OBH (OpenBlackHole). OBH 4.1 is much lighter than any BH and will give your Zero a new life.

Of course I know about OBH. I do not use OpenPLI but they came with the fix for dvb text.
Subtitles on Animal Planet HD 0.8w do not work with OBH.
Aside from this, it works well but also has trouble with and receiving stream with OBH.
Ex. A server runs stream redicted from one server through another one.
Only sd channels will work.
At Blackhole both sd and hd stream work.
And my favorite is also Blackhole.

Funny, OBH 4.2 and BH 3.0.6 both have the same fix for the dvb subtitles on Animal Planet.

Because if you pay attention only to the (possible) answers to your posts, you loose a lot of important info and news. OBH 4.2 was released about 10 days ago.

I know OBH came 10 days ago, but this is not made for vu + zero.
The fact that OBH and BH have the same dvb fix is completely unusual as long as new image is not made for vu + Zero
Has not tested OBH 4.1 but is quite sure that dvb text does not work on Animal Planet HD 0.8W.
