TBS 5925 USB Tuner - new open source drivers

Burley

Vu+ Newbie
There are some special transponders with italian programmes free to air,but
they are "hidden" for normal tuners.
Why?
1. They are using ACM/VCM
2.Using PL Scrambling so tuner cannot lock
3.MIS transponders cannot be correctly read in.
Solution:
Only PC card Tbs 6925 or the usb version 5925 can do it.

So the question is,how to use this usb box with my new Solo2?

Have found some postings ,about this theme:

See Crazycats see esp. 5925.patch!

Maybe, since there are open source drivers out now, someone can patch them to MIPS.

Thanks for looking on this!

interesting... but it shouldn't be easy to add to our repository since this patch is for liplianin experimental repository and shouldn't be compatible with our repository, but we will try later.... :-)
