Transcoding Vu+ ultimo 4k...

WolfMan

Vu+ Newbie
Hi to all,

I'm new on this matter and I recently have purchased an VU+...
The box have Black Hole 3.0.6, last *****, a FCB DVB-S2 + unicable LNB from Inverto, tuned to only one satellite, where each tuner (A, B, C, D ....) is configured to use the same LNB, but with different SCR's and connected between each other (B connected to A, C to B, etc...).

I'm trying to use the box, to see TV in 2 or 3 rooms at same time in my home, all viewers are in the same network (some over wifi 5Ghz, other via ethernet cable), using Kodi and for what I have understood, I need to use transcoding.
And that's where the problem lies. I've done all the VU+/Enigma client server configuration and the EPG, the channel list and picons are fine and updated/working, but beyond the channel that I can choose and see directly from the box (without any kind of problem), I can not see anything else via transcoding, or OpenWebif that is outside from the transponder in use on the moment by the tuner A.

I can not see nothing from the remaining tuners (B, C, ...).
When I choose some channel that forces the box to use any other turners, I have the following view on the OpenWebif:

The one with the green circle I can see (is the one on the VU+).
The other with red circle (requested from Kodi from other PC or TV Box) I can not see. It remains selected on Kodi, but there's no jump to the channel view (only remains active the selection of the channel).

I saw all the suggestions at the level of the transcoding, tuners and Openwebif existing in the forum (static Ip address, transcoding resolution, activation, authentications off on OpenWebif, ports (80, 8001 and 8002), etc...) and I believe that I am well aware of the respective configurations.

Can any one give me an hand and explain what is missing/wrong?
What means the red circle? There's existe any OpenWebif tutorial?

Thanks...

I believe you configured the tuners correctly, but this is not possible to check from your screenshot. You should grab it directly from the GUI to show something like I attach (I attached only the overall configuration and one FCB tuner).
It really seems a problem of tuners' configuration because, even without transcoding (that I never use, at least from my home network: the transcoding is useful when you access you box from outside, to reduce the Internet traffic) you should be able to watch all those channels. Unless.... they are not FTA, of course!
If they are descrambled by a Smartcam, you cannot watch/record/stream different encrypted channels.
And, talking about that, are you able with your configuration to watch/record different channels from different transponders? If not, we'd be sure your tuner configuration is wrong.

Thanks in advance Alexwilmac for your inputs and help...
I was unaware that it was possible to watch channels without transcoding. How it can be done?
Don't we need to define the 8001 or 8002 (transcoding ports) and 80 (OpenWebif) ports on IPTV client side?

I'm new on these subjects and I'm learning.
I can record multiple channels (I have tried 2 different ones) and watch a third a same time.
I have ***** and Below the GUI pictures from tuners, OpenWebif and Transcoding:

Thanks.

I was not talking about IPTV, that you didn't mention: as you mentioned OWIF, instead, I thought you just wanted to watch channels by a computer in other rooms. In this case, if the channels are FTA (you haven't answered about this, yet) you can just click on the second icon of OWIF and watch it not transcoded.
Any other use is not my field ;)

The channels are FTA.
I click on the second icon of OWIF (a mobile icon, when mouse move over it says: xxx:transcoded channel) and some channel open, other not.

Actually, I have 3 icons and the second is a TV/computer. This is not transcoded. The 3rd, the mobile phone, it is.

I also have the 3 icons, but If is still remember, pressing the TV icon, changes the channel on the box and not open a view windows on computer.
I will recheck it today...
Which is your OWIF version?

If when pressing the TV, it changes the output channel in the receiver, it has no free tuner to be able to see the channel (streaming 8001/8002), something is incorrectly configured in the tuner.
---------
Si al presionar la TV, cambia el canal de salida en el receptor, no tiene tuner libres para poder ver el canal (streaming 8001/8002), algo esta mal configurado en los tuner.

I don't find my OWIF version. Is the last installed in OBH 4.2 but it has always been like that: pressing the TV icon, VLC starts opening the related stream.
