Tuner B - Issue on Solo2

Hi, I recently upgraded my Solo2 to 2.0.5 and just realised that my second tuner doesn't seem to be working.

I checked the connectors they are ok. I swapped cables and Tuner A works fine with either of the cables.

Please don' t tell me that box is gone faulty :(
 
Both of the tuners have the same configuration - please see the screenshot.

If you leave tuner A un-configured you don't get any signal for definite?

Fingers crossed it ain't faulty for you mate, but for me its always been a knocked wire causing a bad connection, both times had problem I had been messing about with usb stick I leave in back of solo2 and knocked the wires coming into tuners.

If I leave the Tuner A un-configured, there is no signal for definite.
I just noticed that SNR on Tuner B keep jumping up/down from 80% to 0% however the SNR on Tuner A stays static i.e. 80%....
but as I said before, Tuner A works fine with either of the cables but Tuner B shows no signal with either of the cables......

PLEASE HELP!!
 
This is strange.
You have 2 cables, the two tuners are configured in the same way, right?
If you put 1 cable in tuner A it works, if you put the same cable in the second it doesn't work?
Did it work with 2.0.4?

I have two cables coming in from the dish, both cables work in Tuner A and both cables do not work in Tuner B.
Both Tuners are configured exactly the same and the picture of the configuration I have attached in my 2nd post here.
Yes, it was all good in 2.0.4, now I'm not saying that 2.0.5 messed it up coz sure there are thousands of people who upgraded and they are ok..
Any advice ?
 
The only thing I can say, is flash back to 2.0.4 and see if it works ok still.

If it does, then you know it's not a fault with the box for definate,

Thanks Evo, I'll do that.
I don't think there is any way to scan the box and see if all the hardware components are ok ?
I'll go back to 2.0.4 and update you guys with the outcome.

Hi Evo,
I flashed the box down to 2.0.4 and the problem still exists.
I also had an old backup (when both turners were ok) , restored that and the problem still there.
Any other ideas which you can suggest at this stage ?

I tried one more thing, I did the online image update of 2.0.5, so now I'm on 2.0.5 Rev B - Problem is still there! :(
 
Guys, Just to let all you know that Tuner B died for whatever reasons. I sent it back to the guys who I bought from and I received the replacement today. I could be one of the very few unfortunates who had this hardware issue.

I know its not relevant to this topic but ........
i got the replacement today, connected my 2.5" HDD with it but the box isn' t recognizing it. When I go to mountpoints, it doesn't show up there either. When I go to Hardware Setting, the HDD isn't there either. !st I thought HDD is dead, I've another 3.5" HDD, I know it doesn't fit inside the box but just to test , I connected the sata cable to it and the box doesn't recognise it either..

Any idea how to resolve the issue please ? ? ?
 
I THINK i know what is the problem.
When I got the box there was no HDD cable with it, I had a sata cable which I used to connect the hdd but I just realised that it needs a little power cable as well!!
I have requested the seller to post me the cable
