I repeat, that is a relative value. Let's do some calculations . Cosidering signal strenght 33% as 0 dB SNR, log (87-33)*10 is 17.32 dB.
So, what is the reference of those 11.25 dB?
Reverse calculation : 10 exp (11.25/10) = 13.335, gives me 73% of signal strenght as 0 dB SNR reference. But I can receive DVB-S channels at 41% of signal strenght . Not DVB-S2, they need at least 50% (depends on modulation).
