Request Tuner server che freeza con canali HD

Buongiorno a tutti,
Il problema è quello in oggetto. Da PC tutto ok lo streaming dal Vu+ tranne che per i canali HD che freezano da paura (uso VLC sul PC).

La mia rete:
Casa cablata (presumo cat. 6 o 5e, cosa che verificherò presto perché non mi fido molto)
Cavi LAN tutti 6A
Router 10/100 (sarà forse questo il problema? Mi servirà un router gigabit per l'HD?)
PC sufficientemente prestante
