Tuner setup

I have a motorized dish and a fixed dish with 2 lnb (19.2e & 28.2e) i also have a 4way diseq switch.
How do i configure the tuners.(vu+ ultimo)
A noob's guide will be appreciated.

I think the most effective is to use one tuner for motorized dish
and another for diseq/ fixed dish,
so you could record from different satellites

But I personally have only motor.

Which goes to tuner A/B?
How do i configure the fixed dish?
Configure mode...simple?
Mode......Diseq A/B or A/B/C/D (i have a 4way diseq switch but only 2 sats are installed at the moment)
Set voltage and 22KHZ ...Yes or No?
Send diseq only on satellite...Yes or No?
Am confused...
Pls help a newbie.

I have no disqc so I do not know the exact answer
But I think that it is not difficult to test and choose the best configuration.
Maybe someone knows on the forum.

Probably should go motorized dish to tuner A

Mode Positioner

Simple
Mode DiSEqC A B C D (C and D nothing connected)

Do you have 2 or 3 dvb-s2 tuners in your ultimo ?

If only 2, then Tuner A simple, diseqc A/B/C/D, port A 19.2 or 28.2 and port B 28.2 or 19.2 (depending which lnb is on which port of your swtich).
Tuner B, simple, positioner.

If 3 tuners, Tuner A, simple, 19.2, diseqc no (and remove your 4 way switch), Tuner B, simple 28.2, diseqc no, Tuner C, simple, positioner.

I have 2 dvb-S2 tuners,i have the positioner on Tuner A,i will reverse it and observe the difference...
