unable to load vu-control centre on my pc

after adding my ip address for my vu+solo2 and pressing the "connect"button all I get in the information box is "unable to connect to ip" and the warning banner comes up with "Access violatio at address0052ACB5 in module 'VUCC.exe'.Read address 00000000."

What am I doing wrong?

Verify that U have the correct IP address, setup>system>network!
If U are using DHCP, the IP address is dynamic and changes when ever making E2 starting or booting!

In the network page I have the interface and DHCP both "yes"
after doing the network test
Lan adapter
Lan conection
Local network
enabled
DHCP
enabled
IP Adress
confirmed
Nameserver
confirmed

therfore all the boxes infront are all tick marked.

or should I have DHCP as a no?

eventually got the vu+control centre on my pc,now that it is on my PC now have to learn what is it used for?
