Hi

Can anyone assist. Have vu+ duo and for years have streamed to my pc. Since upgrading to version 2.0.2 am unable to stream to pc on my LAN. Followed some instructions to reinstall the old webif and this restored functionality, but an online update killed this.

Am now on version 2.0.2 D, when I stream to VLC get message

Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://192.168.0.2:8002/1:0:19:F15:7F1:2:11A0000:0:0:0:'. Check the log for details.

I see that you are using a Duo box (I love it :) ) but you aren't using the default streaming port 8001: why?

There are two identical icons in webif next to each other for streaming. When you hover your mouse cursor over them, the left one pops up "Stream channelname", while the right one says "Stream Port 8002 channelname". It seems you're clicking the icon on the right which is by default used for streaming transcoded stream on Solo2. Click the left one.

You guys are brilliant, thanks for the advice.
Changed the streaming port to 8001 and now click on the correct icon and it streams.
Thanks guys and all of you who create and maintain Blackhole

Hi Guys - I hope I am not hijacking this thread.
I tried to stream using webif and it works fine with the channel already running on the TV but if I use the webif on my PC to change channel = it does not change channel and gives following error msg.

Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://192.168.0.9:8001/1:0:1:4224:3DB8:13E:820000:0:0:0:'. Check the log for details.

Any suggestions.

Tks

PS: Using VU+ duo with BH 2.02 Rev. D (latest image)

Do you have two cables from your dish - one for each of the tuners? Did you check your tuner configuration - are both tuners configured correctly?

Exactly as rlpibe69 wrote. If you want to stream independently from what you're watching on TV, you need twin LNB (LNB with two outputs), two cables (one for each tuner) and the tuners configured correctly.
