what version do you have? I'd suggest to use fancontrol2 plugin instead of standard one and try it with default settings - can't check my configuration now

Check if airflow is not blocked by anything on top of it and that the Uno is not put on top of a hot amplifier or something else.
An Uno should not heat very much normally. If have a 3.5 inch inside and it does not heat even with that. The fan is hardly doing anything. I now because I hear it when it spins up.
