UNO - No channels Found

Recently purchased a faulty Uno of Ebay hoping to find it an easy fix. The box is unable to see any find any channels and comes up with the message "No Data On Transponder" Thinking the problem may have been with Tuner I purchased one of the new dual tuner but still the same problems. The dish is correctly alligned for 28.2 as it working fine on my sky box. I get a decent signal return and lock indicator on satfinder page but when I scan I get 0 services found. Ive totally ran out of ideas as to what the next step is. So far i have tried

1. Re flashed BH 1.7.9
2. Upgraded FPGA
3. Updated Satellites.xml
4. Replace Original single tuner with dual tuner

Sounds like it has a major hardware issue if a new tuner hasn't fixed it.

Do you get any channels if you download a settings file from the addon's panel ?

If that doesn't work, the only other thing I can suggest is to do the fpga (firmware) update on it, incase that has somehow become corrupt (look in vu general section of this board for details on how to do that).

Tried flashing back to Original VU software and changing drivers but still the same. Anyway to get a total clean software install? Im still convinced its a software issue that isnt getting fixed by a re-flash

You have done fpga and changed the image and it's still the same.

It is not a software issue i'm afraid.

Take a close look at the circuit board inside and see if anything is damaged. Check around the tuner, and hdd area's as all these parts are removable and it would be easy to damage something if you are not careful also look around the card slot area as they can unclip and flap around inside the box (if it was dropped) and that could damage something too if the box was switched on with them touching something they shouldn't have been.

Ive been into the box last night and had a look at the mobo & re seated all connectors. No rogue screws or bits of metal about and box if pretty dust free. I might try and remove the motherboard again and run it up loose in the case to see if maybe the tuner is sitting slightly high.

Having just sold my Duo to buy this it looks like ill need to purchase myself a new box. Dont think I can like without one anymore :(

Well you knew it was faulty when you bought it, so hopefully you didn't pay much for it, so you should have some cash left over from selling to Duo to put towards a new box.

Btw the solo2 beats the Uno and Duo hands down ;)

Paid £140 for it. Hopefully get some ££ back for it as spares on Ebay. Ive been eyeing up the Solo2 this morning. Just need to consult the boss about it first :D
