I have bought a USB DVB-S2 device and I'm waiting the delivery at my home.
ASAP I will report the implementation status.

For me, it's experimental for Vu+Solo box
But someone should need an additional tuner .....

I had a SkyStar USB 2 HD CI. It was a total disaster! I sold it after 3 days.

I know the status of the Technisat device: unsupported (at this moment)

I have made some confusion about models.
Your device is not currently supported by Video4Linux (V4L) and without this kind of support, the device cannot be used on our linux based boxes.
I hope the support will be added soon.

I've received the USB tuner today morning and preliminary tests are very positive.
DVB-S TPs from 13E works good but for DVB-S2 TPs more work is need around code.

Yesterday i went to my local shop and bought one of : Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T USB Stick - DVB-T Digital freeview TV tuner stick...I installed it on my vu+ uno and when i went for a search yhe tuner found 0 channels..i tried it on my dm 800 and my laptop but with the same results...i went to the shop and i changed this tuner with a Afatech AF9015.I found it very good ,i installed it on my vu+ and is working very good.

I'm interested on a tevii s660 usb s2 tuner, there are any new on driver develop?
I'm a programmer...not a expert on linux but if is it necessary I can do the dirty work

many thanks for the news I tried the TeVii S660 too and it works like a charm with unicable settings and attached in the output of the vu uno satellite tuner.

Infos about your device are published HERE and seems possible to support it with new kernel ... but I think I need some time and some wor around the driver needed.
