USB keyboard support with BH 2.0.5

In order to undertake extensive file renaming, I plugged into my Ultimo a USB keyboard (Perrix) and then rebooted - The keyboard functions but it is an extended German layout but only functions as a standard English one (note my language settings are English) so some keys are incorrectly mapped and the right shift key doesn't function.

- How can I configure the keyboard correctly in BH 2.0.5 ?
- Also is it possible to have the 'OK' and 'Exit' functionality (as with the remote control) with a USB keyboard - ideally I would like 'Enter' = OK and 'Esc' = Exit ?

I would appreciate any suggestions on this as my search of the forum only found one post basically saying it is possible to plug in a USB keyboard.
 
I dont think there is anything that normal users can do to remap the keyboard, it is set on driver level in this case i think. Personally i would also like better support, as it is very limited.
