USB stick in Vu + DUO 4KSE

Hi, I wanted to know why my Vu + DUO 4K SE with Open BlackHole 4.4 image does not see me the usb sticks inserted to make the backup, it only sees me the internal HDD.
Do I have to prepare them somehow?

Did you format it and make a mount on the box
Look under USB format and device manager (blue button>>blue)
