USB stick not recognized during boot in 1.4.6

My USB stick is not shown under Device manager in 1.4.6. Never had any problems in earlier versions of BH... It shows sometimes but it's not consistent, which makes it hard to have a swapfile on my USB stick..

Is this a known problem in the new version?

What kind of USB stick do you use? Producer, model and size are useful...
 
Maybe they changed something in the drivers
Maybe ... ...
I have 5 USB sticks
four are doing well
one just like yours used to be sometimes recognized, and sometimes not recognized .
So most simply did find a USB stick that is recognized always and without problems.
My most expensive 8 GB Kingstone USB stick is not always recognized.
 
bjornti, let's try a full reboot from the remote when the device is not recognized
if it appears after the reboot in the device manager, is there a trick for solve :)
i had exactly the same issue with the internal hdd (as well with the 1.4.5)
 
I tried 3 more USB sticks and found one that works.... So I am just using that one for the moment... :)
