USB tuner reset (no tuner restart)

Sometimes it happens: you have to reboot your Vu+ in order to have DTT channels back from your USB stick. I am wondering if there is a command to be give by a terminal and/or anything else for this purpose, that could simply reset/reload/turn-off & on the USB stick rather than reboot the entire Vu+
I am sure the should be a way to do that. Any idea ?
