Username and password for Vu+

Hi there,

I have the Vu+ Duo Ultimo with 3 tuners. I have bought 3 days ago a new wireless modem (ZyXEL-2812HNU) that requires USERNAME and PASSWORD to give me access to the Vu+ for streaming and watch TV on my laptop or for editing e.g. the channel settings.
The problem is I do not know which are the username and password
What I mean is: I use the IP address 192.168.1.59 in the address bar of the internet in my laptop and I see the message below:

The server 192.168.1.59 requires a username and password.
The server says: OpenWebif.
USERNAME
PASSWORD
My old modem (wired LAN only) was not requiring this and it was giving me access directly when I was using the old IP address: 10.0.0.150

Can somebody help?

By default, the username is root but there is no password.

I tried your suggestion i.e. root with no password, but unfortunately it does not work. I cannot have access to OpenWebif.
I tried also root with different passwords like 0000, or 1234 or pass or password or vuplus or vuplusultimo but nothing works.
Any other ideas?

With CLEAN BH or BP isntallation, the root user doesen't have setted up password.
If you use a 3rd party backup, this kind of images aren't supported here.
