Using Card Reader Slot on VU+ duo

I am using a VU+Duo with various cams, cccamd, ****** etc, I also have a genuine French TNT sat card that should clear all the french channels" except C+ etc" . The card is valid and works on a Viaccess sat receiver.My question is how do I get the card reader with working card to decrypt the channels. I have set the channels to default to CI slot but nothing. Do I need to configure something or load a script to get the channels to point to this slot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
