Video playback cropped

Hi folks,

When playing back movies on XBMC quite a lot of them are being cropped, so the image is being stretched and the top and bottom black bars are not present. I'm currently using the latest Black Hole image - 2.1.6. I've heard that by pressing 5 during playback it should present an option to change the format but I just get an X appearing on screen, as if to say the button has no function.

I think that Mediaplayer2 is installed by default with the 2.1.6 image which I understand has this option. Is there anything else I can do to correct this problem? Thanks guys.

No. Mediaplayer 2 it´s not installed by default, so pressing <5> key on Mediaplayer ( classic embebed on image ) don´t work.
Tonight i´ll post the files needed to make it work on Mediaplayer, as i am at work!

Be patient, wait till there!

Go to setting ,av setting ,if the 16/9 is set to letter box ,just play around with the choices ,get it back again to letterbox and save. Try it it will work
