Vu+ Newbie
As happening at the moment lot of big Corporation are going with Android, Sony TV is the first one and the rest i think will go with it, even small Companies like Amiko, Skybox have made some boxes with Android, this is the Direction that Dream Multimedia and Vu+ may go is well, there seems to be problem with Kodi on Enigma 2, it can not be Updated to the latest version, but with Android Kodi works very well, this is happening in China-Shenzhen is well, there are lot of Boxes there Satellite or DVB-T2 with Android, i think Android and Google are main Players now on Multimedia TV, and this what the Multimedia War is about, all like to have One Box with everything, this is the beginning, the future will tell!!!!!

The Android Operating System seems to work best on a smart phone or tablet because it was designed for these items. Android was not designed for FTA, and I have yet to see an Android Operating system perform as well as Linux or other Closed Source operating systems for FTA.

Kodi in its basic form is an Open Source media player that allows addons or plugins. I think you will see Kodi perform much better in Linux FTA receivers soon.
