Vu+ as a UPNP client (stream from other UPNPservers)

Hi!

As my djmount client is running, I can see my UPNP server in /media/upnp/My UPNP Server/*

All my media is viewable via SSH.

Now, my question is: How come I can't see any of the folders/files on my UPNP server in the "built-in" Media Player? - Does it only work for MediaThomb servers?

There are a lot of other UPNP servers - why can't I stream from them?
Plex Media Server
PS3 Media Server
XBMC Media Server

Media Player included into Enigma2 boxes has their own internal filters.
You can (try) to play files recognized by Media Player.

For example: if your DLNA server make avaiable a mkv file, E2 Media Player can play it.

You can try alternative Media Players from Addon Server.
