vu duo 2 and toshiba smart tv

I reacently purchased a Toshiba smart tv and was hoping to stream from my vu duo 2 box have tried both by dnla server and openwebif but im thinking the media player cannot open the file format used for streaming does anyone know how I can get around this? any help would be appreciated
