But I cant get it to work properly, the mute button and volume buttons don`t response, Furthermore it won`t pick up my tv in the scan mode, tried the 4 digital number but no luck. using a Sony Smart tv.
Is it possible to reprogram the vol and mute button manually? Thanks
 
Did manage to get the Tv working, i wasn`t pressing the mute button long enough !

Press buttons 1 and 3 simultaneously until the TV power button on the vu+ remote illuminates.

enter the TV code.

Hold the mute button down whilst pointing the remote at the TV until the TV mutes.

Press the +/- Volume buttons to see if the vu+ remote is now controlling your TV.

To exit press the OK button plus the Stop Button (Recording Stop Button) together.
 
Thanks, i managed to fix it by turning on HDMI-CEC setup and Enable the function, reboot . resetting the handset and all working fine now.
