Vu+Duo and openMultiboot

I have followed the openMultiboot tutorial but am a little stuck.

I have done the following:

1: Installed openblackhole 4.1 into flash
2: Formatted the USB stick using the wizard
3: Mounted the USB stick
4: Copied over BH3.05 as a zip into the upload folder
5: Shortened the filename and installed the image using openMultiboot
6: Rebooted the box

I can see the image directories in /media/usb/open-multiboot/bh305

However when I go into openMultiboot Manager I can't see the image so that I can choose it on boot.

Any suggestions? I have tried about 4 different USB sticks.

This is strange because it's some other images not showing in the Multiboot menu (withing the plugin), like VTi, if I'm not wrong. Anyway, try this:
enter the plugin, press Menu and choose "Preferences". There you''l find this option: "Enable Boot Menu". Set it to yes and save.
Then reboot the box and be attentive to see the boot menu: there choose the image you want (but if you wait for too many seconds, it'll boot with the default image).
If you don't see the other images it means the installing of the OMB image did not succeed.

Thanks, by default the option to Enable MultiBoot was already ticked and there is still no choice when booting.

I can't get my head around why it won't work.

Yes, this way is strange, unless it doesn't not recognise the usb stick during the boot but only afterwards. Is it the usb stick directly connected to a usb port or do you use a hub? Because hubs are very often a big issue.
