Vu+ Newbie
Hello all,

New to this site so hopefully i do not encrouch on any rules :(

I have a Vu+ duo set up on satallite but new house has cable.

Is it an easy change over?

Any help or how to guides would be amazing.

Thanks guys :)

I seem to recall this being posted before.
I don't think the Duo can take an internal cable tuner, unlike the Duo2, which has plug in tuners, similar to a PC graphics card, and it has 2 tuner slots, so you can have satellite, and cable/terrestrial.
Try an internet search, for a possible USB cable tuner, that can work with your VU+ Duo.
You might also want to search for a cable receiver, capable of receiving the FTA channels, if they are even available.
Also search for ways to tell if your cable is still connected, otherwise you might have to pay for the provider to re-connect it.
Using the internet search option, is always the best policy, as only you know where you are moving to, and can check if the cable is still working.

What about a connector adaptor that i have seen online?

If it cannot work, do you have any reccomendations of the best equiptment?
I've never seen DVB-C to DVB-S2 converter .....
If your needs is only DVB-C (Cable) you should look around Uno, Ultimo (first generation box that can have Cable tuner), SoloSE, SoloSEv2, Duo2 (second generation boxes that can have Cable tuner) or Solo4K (third generation that can have Cable tuner).
