Hello guys,
I have a problem with my HDMI output on VU.
TV shows "No-Signal" Message.
With Scart-Output everything works fine.
Box is 2 years old, watched all the time over HDMI.
Is the Mainboard damaged?
Please help.
Thanks.
I have tried all HDMI-Ports of my TV.
No Signal.
Other Devices work with the HDMI-Ports.
Do you know where i can buy a mainboard for the box.
I had the exact same problem here. I used a different HDMI cable and it worked perfectly. If I change back to the other HDMI cable, nothing.
This is strange because the HDMI cable that DOESNT work on the VU+ works on my Media Center PC perfectly. So the cable is fine, it's just the VU+ that does not like it.
Does anybody know if there are different types of HDMI cable? Can't find anything online. This cable that I have problems with does seem a lot thicker cable. Is this relevant? Anybody know?
The one that does work on the VU+ is very thin and even cheap looking.
HDMI cables can be different one to ones and their quality also can be differ from different cables.
With my HT System I use a Philips Golden cable from TV to Amp and normal cables from Vu+/BD Player to Amp and all works regularly.
That's helpful to know that there is a difference, but any idea what the difference is, and more importantly which type of cable do I look for as I do need a new one? I have founf out htat there are different versions, 1.0 - 1.4. What is it about the vu+ duo that makes some cables work and some not?
