could anyone help ive just got a vu duo plus and im well impressed with it the only problem is when I record a channel I go to watch another channel and it wont let me watch another chanel any ideas pleaase

Thread moved to correct section (Newbie question).
Your problem is simple: you need to configure both tuners (A and B) according to your dish installation.
To obtain maximum flexibility you need a SCR LNB or 2 coax indipendent cables from your dish/LNB

First of all it's foundamental that you describe your current dish setup and next proceed to setup tuners.

I have a dual lnb and I have two cables running from my dish to my vu duo box

Set tuner a simple single and your sat....tuner b equal to a if its a fixed dish
