Vu Duo remote control issue

Hi all. Have a problem with a vu duo where the remote either stops working altogether or only up button and ok works. Remote works fine on a solo so it's not the remote. Tried 0001 and 0002 codes and a host of different images. Box works fine in every other way via webif. Any ideas, cheers
