vu Duo settings after recording

After recording using bh 1.6.2 final image on the Vu+ duo theres no option for the receiver to go to standby , or is it the image is corrupt. I dont want to reload the image as I have to initialise the hdd and thus lose all the films I have on it.I am sure this option was there previously

Why would you need to reinitialise the HDD? That's a one-off operation when you set up for the first time, so re-flashing the image doesn't affect the recordings on the HDD.

For On Off button Standby you can configure in

Main menu >>Setup>>System>>Customize>>Action on long and short powerbutton press
but Menu Customize must be in Setup Mode Expert and not in Setup Mode Simple.

==============================

Standby must be also in the Main Menu>> Black Hole Shutdown
at the end of the Menu List Black Hole Shutdown panel.

The standby option for on off button is fine .Its after a recording is made where is the option to go to standby . Sonc the hdd has to be reinitialised if reflashed or although the vu sees the drive and mounts it ,it dont record !

I'm not sure I understand your question.

If you mean the option in the Timer Entry panel

It is located at the end of the list
After event>> You can choose auto, do nothing or go to standby function...
