Vu Duo "Starting ... " Problem

alian

Vu+ Newbie
I have a Vu Duo box.It is completely genuine and works from 2 years ago.
It worked fine until i upgrade its Bootloader to cfe 3.0. and BH 1.7.2.
After this the box had stucks in " Starting ..." & has been passed by tuening on/off several times. Aftar that i flashed it several times by BH versions+CFE 3.0 but the problem has returned.
So Bad ... Now it has stuck in "Starting ..." Not accept any flash from any usb pen drive model & saize & no from Vu+ Utility.
The putty log says it goes to initilizing Usb then goes to waiting restart after 15 sec.
I measure Voltage of Usb port in start but it is ziro.
All voltages of 3 regulators after power supply are Ok.
All output voltages of power supply are Ok.
I am disapointed from such expensive box it is not acceptable.
So what you think for solving this problem.
1- Is the new Bootloader case of this problem ?
2- Can i downggrade bootlader to earlier version ?
3- Are you know any program apart from Vu+ util can flah box from Serial port ?
4- Any suggestion to bring alive this box ?

Thanks.

You have try to replace C807 ?
You have voltage OK
but is this voltage clean DC ???
(voltage ripple to high, you can see only on the scope ??)

I replace C807 with a new one 330 uf 35 volt >>>> no change.
I use an scope to verify power supply regulators output on main board, All voltages was ok and low noisy. (0.1 V noise)
There is no Lnb Voltage & Fan voltage.
Cpu temperature is about 40'C.
What is your Idea for checking ?
Are you know voltage check points on Vu duo Boards for test ??
Is there any maintain manual for it ??

no change Until now

Unfortunately I have no information about the voltages.
I have seen my receiver inside only once

But I suppose because you have no power to the vent, and LNB
missing voltage of 12 V (12V for vent and 12 Vneeded for LNB up converter H/V polarisation 12/18 V).
Which is obtained i think directly from the main power supply
printed circuit board.
So I guess you missing 12 V and you must have 12 and 5 volts
on the main power supply printed circuit board connector.

Maybe someone have more information abt this problem/defect

My question is : what you find out of this ? Is bootloader ok ? or needed to Jtag ?

Try with another USB stick, try to reflash CFE Bootloader and then reflash with an Official Vu+ image downloaded from http://code.vuplus.com
