Check the Where I purchased my VU+ thread, for a list of retailers, with a good reputation, I bought my VU+ Duo 2 from Goldwafers, if you live in the UK:

Afaik ... there´s no vu+ duo2 clone stb´s.
But to buy with some confidence ... take a look to reported posts on buying --> http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/forums/where-i-bought-my-vu-retailers-list.13/

If you live in portugal give a try to dreamportugal or maxi-tv.

This will help you to decide for a seller.

Unfortunately there were some clone Duo2 stb's around

However from what I have seen, they cost more to buy than original Duo2's

Just buy from 1 of the authorised dealers, as linked to above and you will have no problems.

Add TP 11546 V SR 44995 FEC 2/3, TP 11546 H SR 44995 FEC 2/3 & TP 11672 H SR 44995 FEC 2/3 from Satellite ST 2@ 88.0 E.

All TP (04) signals are strong but unable to scan any of the services.

Error message is "No data on transponder! (Timeout reading PAT).

Guys, need a fix.
